DOWNINGTOWN PA USA - Internationally recognized and former Guinness World Record Holder "Domino Wizard" Robert Speca donated his time and talent to build a domino display of 11,111 dominoes to honor all Veterans of the United States Armed Services at East Ward Elementary School. With Veterans, Students, Teachers and School Administrators in attendence the Domino Show was a tremendous success.

The Domino Wizard gets invited to Colorado to assist a group in getting out their message in dominoes for an upcoming Proposition (Prop 103). See the video here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5N8zBphknA
The Domino Wizard Robert Speca was invited to a corporate event in April to display his "domino wizardry" and assist the employees in a domino "team building" activity. Some photos of the event follow.

Mr. Speca,
My name is Jennifer Wickham and I work at St. George
Episcopal School in San Antonio, TX. I thought you might be
interested in how we use dominoes at our school.
Every spring our students collect money for issues related to global
poverty, hunger, etc. For every dollar we raise we put a domino on
our gymnasium floor. When the fundraising period is over, we all
gather in the gym for a spectacular toppling. The domino chain
(dubbed "Chain of Love") is a metaphor for how little efforts add up
to bigger things, and this project is helping our students learn that
they can make a difference in the world. I began this project in
2006, and your Championship Domino Toppling book was one of the first
resources I bought. The first year we knocked down
3500--HUGE to me at the time--and last year it was 25,000. Every
year we use the slogan ONE DOLLAR=ONE DOMINO=ONE WORLD. Because
they've seen the impact of all this on our school community, other
schools have asked us to help them do Chains of Love of their own.
The San Antonio Spurs have awarded us a grant to help us develop the
project, and we're currently a semifinalist for an additional
$20,000 grant from them. (see:

Mainly I wanted to write you to THANK YOU, because your work has
helped pave the way for our own. It's fun to see how our project has
grown over the years, and I thought you might get a kick out of seeing
how we're using dominoes to change the world!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Wickham

It's not something you see everyday: a sea of green, blue, and yellow. It’s a scene too pretty to touch, but in this case, that's the point. “The time spent in this entire project is a lot more than people probably realize,” says Beth Miller, President of HPN Marketing Services.
When Star Financial Bank decided to change their image, they hired HPN for help. “When people found out that we were going to use more than 20,000 dominos in a TV spot they were just amazed,” says Miller.
Like dominos, your financial life can often become scattered. Your banker isn't talking to your insurance agent, and your insurance agent isn't talking to your money manager. “With star bank, all three come together,” says Miller. And what better way to demonstrate that than with thousands of colored dominos, right? But as with all things, what goes up, must come down.
"I kept setting them up in my basement and before I knew it, I had 5,000 set up,” says Robert Speca, a domino expert. Speca flew in from Philadelphia for the shoot. He's set multiple records for the most dominos ever set up-- “The most I set up was 111,111 and that filled a whole basketball court. It took 2-weeks to set up and 35-minutes to fall over,” says Speca.
